Brechin City - St Johnstone Match Preview - By John Hoey

Brechin City - St Johnstone Match Preview

Brechin City will be looking to bounce right back from Saturday's disappointment at Elgin when St Johnstone come calling at the Glebe tomorrow night in the penultimate tie of the group stages of the Betfred Cup and City supporters are reminded that season tickets are NOT VALID for this cup-tie in accordance with the agreement made by members at the club's recent AGM.

As far as team news is concerned, Darren Dods will have a full squad at his disposal (Paul McLean excepted) and the manager will certainly be looking for an improvement in performance levels from his players as they pit their wits against a team which is certainly in form at the present time. Tommy Wright's troops are undefeated in the tournament so far, recording a 3-1 win up at Elgin a week past Saturday and following this up with an emphatic 3-0 victory over Falkirk at McDiarmid Park on Saturday so City will certainly have their work cut out tomorrow night. However, the City players will be determined to roll their sleeves up and make amends for Saturday's disappointing display and the players will be going all out to produce an upset against their Premiership opponents.

The referee will be the experienced John McKendrick.

Admission Prices at Glebe Park are :-

Adults - £12
Concessions - £6
School Children - FREE

The 1983 Hospitality Lounge will be open to supporters of both sides (Over 18's only) before the match and for a short time after the final whistle.

The Brechin City Supporters Club will be running a bus to City's next match which is the Betfred cup-tie against Falkirk at Falkirk Stadium this Saturday. Anyone wishing to travel to this match should contact William on 07925227826 or leave their name on the Supporters Club Facebook page.
