Kyle Delighted With Glebe Park Move - By John Hoey

Kyle McAusland admits that he's absolutely delighted with his loan move to Brechin City and is looking forward to help his new team mates mount a challenge at the top of the League One table.

" I first heard about the move to Glebe Park last Tuesday night when my agent phoned me on the team bus when we were travelling back to Glasgow after a game against Dundee United at St Andrews," said Kyle.

" I was really pleased to hear that Brechin were keen to sign me and from my point of view, it looked a perfect move as I knew that to join a club like City would definitely help me to develop as a footballer. There were then further discussions over the course of the next couple of days and I was delighted that everything was signed and sealed on Friday afternoon as it enabled me to become involved in the derby match against Forfar."

" I didn't really expect to be on from the start as I haven't played that many games this season but it was great to get the call to go on during the second-half and I thought I did reasonably well although the end result was obviously disappointing."

" However, that game is now past and I'm just looking forward to playing my part in helping the team to move up the table and mount a real challenge."

" I got really positive vibes about the club after chatting with the manager and Darren Taylor and it also helped that I knew quite a few of the boys already. I know Graeme Smith and Alan Trouten quite well and I also got to know Robert Thomson and Callum Tapping when we trained together with the Scotland youth squad.

" Brechin are obviously a good club and I'm really pleased to be part of the set-up at Glebe Park and it's now up to me to prove myself in whatever role I'm asked to fulfil between now and the end of my loan period in December."
