Brechin City will play Forfar Athletic in the first round of the Forfarshire Cup at Station Park on Thursday 4th September with a 7.45pm kick-off.

The Saturday of that week has been allocated for the Petrofac Training Cup quarter-finals and with both sides now eliminated from that tournament it was felt that the Thursday night of that week would be an ideal time to play the Forfarshire tie.
