Ray McKinnon's plans for season 2013 - 14 have continued with the signing of central defender Darren McCormack The 25 year old put pen to paper at training at Stirling yesterday. Darren played on the left side of central defence against Aberdeen on Thursday night. Ray was delighted with the capture describing Darren as an "excellent acquisition who will bring balance to the left side of defence" Darren was at Airdrie last year where he captained the Diamonds and made 38 appearances. He started out at Hibs making over 30 appearances for the Easter Road side gaining a Scotland under 21 cap in the process. He moved on to Ross County where a leg break curtailed his time there and moved onto East Fife before turning out for Airdrie last season. Raymond is still on the look out for a few more players to add to the squad.
