Brechin City - Rangers Preview - By John Hoey

Brechin City - Rangers Match Preview

Brechin City manager Ray McKinnon has moved into the transfer market to sign highly-rated Hamilton Accies youngster Andy Ryan and young Dundee United midfielder Darren Petrie on a month's loan and both players will go straight into the squad for tomorrow's match against Rangers.

Steven Robb who has missed the last two games against Airdrieonians and Stenhousemuir was back in training this week and will come back into consideration for a place in the starting line-up. However, midfielder Allan Walker picked up an injury in the game against the Warriors and is rated as doubtful for tomorrow's eagerly anticipated clash.

Rangers manager Ally McCoist will be without Dean Shiels while there are doubts over Chris Hegarty, Ross Perry and Rod Wallace.

City will be eager to put recent disappointments behind them and take the game to the league leaders just as they did at Ibrox on the opening day of the league campaign.

A big crowd is expected for tomorrow's match and Brechin City supporters are encouraged to arrive early.

The Match Referee will be Craig Charleston, a familiar figure to both sets of supporters.

Turner and Townsend are sponsoring the match and are also sponsoring the Match Ball.

Mascots are brothers Murray and Fraser Thomson along with Alistair Thorrington.
