The Club is about to embark on a major pitch improvement programme with contractors starting work on the playing surface on Monday 27th May.
The works include the removal of the top pitch layer, installation of a new drainage system across the whole pitch, and of course leveling and re-seeding of a new grass surface. The Club will also carry out some civil engineering works around the ground to ensure all areas of concern in respect of drainage at the ground are improved.
With time being the main enemy, it is unlikely that the Club will be able to hold any home pre-season friendlies.
