Brechin City can confirm that the away match against Inverness Caledonian Thistle on 3rd March has been postponed.

Both clubs have been in regular dialogue with the SPFL, resulting in all parties agreeing to call off the fixture. This is in conjunction with police advice due to concerns over safety for those travelling to the game.

Clearly the weather events have been quite exceptional, and despite the fact that the playing surface at Inverness may well have remained playable, safety considerations have remained paramount.

A revised midweek date for this match to take place will be announced in due course.
