In September 2015, Dundee United announced the signing of 19-year-old Jassem Sukar until the end of the season. The central defender has played three times for the Development Squad recently as a trialist and has done enough to secure a deal to join the Development Squad at Tannadice. On 26 January 2016, Jassem signed a contract extension of until May 2018.
