In a further update in advance of the 2018/19 season, Brechin City can confirm the return of Dougie Hill to the playing squad. The dominant centre-half contributed fully to City’s Championship Play-Off winning season before signing for rivals Dumbarton in time for the start of last season. Dougie moves back to The Glebe as fellow defender Willie Dyer moves in the other direction joining The Sons after 3 seasons with City. Willie leaves with The Club’s best wishes.

In other signing news The Club can also confirm that striker Kalvin Orsi and local youngster Euan Spark have both signed contract extensions to commit themselves to Brechin City for another season.

Back-up goalkeeper Paddy O’Neil has agreed terms to extend his stay at Glebe Park, with renewed terms also having been offered to Finn Graham and Aron Lynas.
